1. Who Sends These Messages

Tack Tools Pro, operated by Powder Firm, LLC (“Tack Tools Pro,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), sends SMS messages to homeowners on behalf of home service professionals who subscribe to the Tack Tools Pro platform. All messages are clearly branded as coming from Tack Tools Pro — we do not impersonate the professional.

2. How You Consent to Receive Messages

Homeowners (consumers) voluntarily provide their mobile phone number when they submit a service request (lead) on a third-party home services marketplace such as Thumbtack.com. By submitting a lead request and providing their phone number, the consumer explicitly requests to be contacted by service professionals about their project. Thumbtack's Terms of Service and lead-submission form make clear that consumers will be contacted by service professionals in response to their request.

When a service professional who uses Tack Tools Pro receives that lead, Tack Tools Pro may send the consumer a single SMS on the professional's behalf if the professional is unable to complete a return phone call within seconds of the lead arriving. The SMS is a direct continuation of the conversation the consumer initiated — it is not an unsolicited marketing message.

3. What Messages We Send

Tack Tools Pro sends one SMS per lead request, triggered only when the professional's return call is not answered by the consumer. The message:

  • Identifies the professional by first name and business name.
  • References the specific service category the consumer requested.
  • Provides a direct link to a Tack Tools Pro hosted page where the consumer can connect with that professional.
  • Clearly identifies Tack Tools Pro as the sender.
  • Includes standard opt-out instructions: “Reply STOP to opt out.”

Messages contain no marketing or promotional content. We do not upsell, promote other services, or send follow-up messages. One lead = one possible SMS.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency depends on how many lead requests you submit on platforms such as Thumbtack. We send a maximum of one SMS per lead request. If you submit multiple separate lead requests, you may receive one SMS per request. We will never send repeated or follow-up messages for the same lead.

5. How to Opt Out

You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time by replying to any message with one of the following keywords:

STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT

After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message and will not receive further SMS messages from Tack Tools Pro for that professional's business. Your opt-out is maintained per-business — opting out from one professional's messages does not affect messages from other Tack Tools Pro subscribers you have separately contacted.

8. Privacy
