1. Who Sends These Messages

Tack Tools Pro, operated by Powder Firm, LLC (“Tack Tools Pro,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), sends transactional SMS account notifications to subscribing home service professionals who use our platform. All messages are clearly branded as coming from Tack Tools Pro and identify our service as the sender. We do not send SMS to consumers or any other party — this program is pro-internal only.

2. Account Notification SMS Program

2a. How You Consent to Receive These Messages

Subscribing Service Professionals consent to receive account notification SMS through an explicit, optional in-product toggle on the Integrations page of their Tack Tools Pro dashboard (https://tacktoolspro.com/dashboard/integrations), labeled “Receive SMS account notifications.” The toggle is OFF by default. Consent is not required to use Tack Tools Pro — every other feature works without it. Professionals can disable the toggle at any time from their dashboard, or reply STOP to any message.

2b. When We Send an Account Notification SMS

We send operational account notifications to the opted-in professional. The toggle covers a single use case: transactional SMS about the professional's own Tack Tools Pro account and lead-response activity. We never send marketing or promotional content on this channel.

Today we send one message type: a missed-lead alert when our automated Live Connect call to a new Thumbtack lead does not connect. The same opt-in covers other operational account notifications we may add under this use case (for example, billing reminders or dashboard changes); if and when we add those, this page will be updated to reflect them.

2c. Message Format

  • Identifies Tack Tools Pro as the sender.
  • Describes the event (e.g., the customer's first name and last initial, and the service they requested for a missed-lead alert).
  • Provides a tap-to-call or tap-to-open link into the professional's dashboard.
  • Includes “Reply STOP to opt out.”

3. Message Frequency

Frequency depends on the professional's lead volume and account activity. A professional who misses three Live Connect calls in a day will receive at most three missed-lead alerts that day. Typical volume is roughly 1–5 SMS per week.

4. How to Opt Out

You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time by replying to any message with one of the following keywords:

STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT

After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message and will not receive further SMS from Tack Tools Pro. You may also disable the toggle at any time from your dashboard at https://tacktoolspro.com/dashboard/integrations.
